KK Arts Blog

I am a watercolor artist interested in studying nature, metaphysics, and their relation. Currently, I am creating large-scale paintings of nonexistent creatures interacting in a nonspecific world in conjunction with studies of extant bird species. My paintings urge the viewer to examine the nature of reality and touch on the ultimate fear of our own nonexistence. Since graduating from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, I have been continuing my work and showing in numerous shows in Chicago and surrounding states. Currently, I am managing work as a framer and painting in my free time. I enjoy hikes, bike rides, birding, and doing minor research on nature, philosophy, and art.
